The most outstanding farm retailers from across the UK have been named as winners of the Farm Retail Awards 2026, sponsored by Fieldfare.


Organised by the Farm Retail Association (FRA), which has around 300 members nationwide, the Farm Retail Awards celebrate excellence across this thriving sector. The annual awards shine the spotlight on hard-working and innovative farm retailers at the top of the game, who go the extra mile to champion quality British produce.


The Farm Retail Awards celebrate the best farm shops, cafés, restaurants, butcheries, farmers markets, pick your own operators and trade suppliers across the industry.
Food and drink broadcaster and champion, Nigel Barden hosted this year’s awards at the Cedar Court Hotel Harrogate last night (Wednesday 11 March), as part of the annual FRA Conference. The FRA was formed 46 years ago to support the industry, providing its members with training, workshops, open days and opportunities to connect, share ideas and learn from one another.

The award ceremony is part of the annual FRA Conference which concludes today (Thursday 12 March) and involves farm shop tours, an AGM and topical workshops. Guest speakers in-clude renowned cook and food systems campaigner Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall, interna-tional prize-winning economist Professor Tim Leuing, and Jo Mounce from award-winning farm retailer Strawberry Fields Farm Shop, Devon.
