The nation’s most outstanding Pick Your Own farms have been revealed, with finalists from across the UK making the shortlist for the prestigious Farm Retail Awards 2026.
Shortlisted farms from across the country have impressed judges with their outstanding customer experiences, community engagement, and passion for fresh, local produce.
Organised by the Farm Retail Association (FRA), the Awards are proudly sponsored by Fieldfare – suppliers of award-winning frozen food sold loose, so you can buy as much as you want but not more than you need. The Awards are judged by fellow farm retailers and celebrate the very best in British farm retail and this year, they come at a time when the sector is stepping confidently into the spotlight.
As part of its ‘More Than Food’ campaign, the FRA is leading a national movement to highlight how farm shops, farmers markets and PYOs are not only sources of exceptional produce, but essential community hubs offering authenticity, trust and connection.
Emma Mosey, Chair of the Farm Retail Association, said:
“This year’s PYO finalists capture everything that’s special about farm retail – seasonal produce, family-friendly experiences and a deep-rooted commitment to their communities. These aren’t just places to buy fruit; they’re places to make memories. As we continue to shine a light on the sector through our ‘More Than Food’ campaign and exciting new rebrand, these finalists remind us why local food matters more than ever.”
