Revolution rarely happens overnight.

Back in 1971, when hair was longer and trousers were considerably wider, a group of friends got together in Brighton with one simple aim: to make good, healthy food available to more people. Food that was organic before most folks knew what that meant. Food you could trust, from people you could talk to. They opened a shop and called it Infinity Foods. And the rest? Well, we’re still writing that part.

Today, Infinity is one of the UK’s biggest providers of organic and natural wholefoods. Delivering to health stores, cafes, farm shops, makers or anyone else who wants to try buying in a more sustainable way. From beans, grains and pulses to bodycare and cleaning products. We’ve got you covered. All of it cruelty free. All of it responsibly sourced. And while we’ve grown, we’ve never outgrown our values.

We became a workers’ cooperative in 1979. Owned and democratically run by the people who work here. That means no shareholders pulling the strings. Just a team that genuinely cares about food, service and doing the right things. Each year, we work with local charities and community groups, donating tonnes of surplus stock to food banks.

At our huge wholesale warehouse in Shoreham by Sea, we harness solar energy and reuse or recycle everything we can. Even used packaging from local customers. We’ve been playing the long game for over 50 years so you can trust we’re doing things right. Our success is a sign that the world is changing. But maybe some things should never change. And we’re working hard to keep some of the old traditions going.
