About Us

Popcorn Kitchen is an ambitious custodian of unadulterated popcorn joy, a brand that started out as a regional county shows and food festivals brands, but under the stewardship of Louise Monk and her team has gathered real momentum as a leading light down the indie sector’s fine food snacking aisles.

This is a brand that seeks to balance great tastes and involving flavour formats with a responsible attitude to leaving a light footprint on the wider environment when it comes to sustainable thinking. This is why Louise and her team prioritised becoming a proud B-Corp member in 2024, which includes nurturing, meaningful long-term alliances with Sedex (ethical sourcing) and Reewild (reforestation initiatives).

Popcorn Kitchen is also a proud member of Buy Women Built, a fantastic collective of ambitious female founder trail blazers, who work tirelessly to showcase the incredible work of this too often under-represented entrepreneurial minority.

This is a business often associated with bold, nostalgic flavours that excite even the most demanding taste buds, flavours inspired by classic treats: Lemon Drizzle, Chocolate Brownie, Cherry Bakewell or Blueberry Muffin OR timeless staples such as Sweet & Salt, Salted Caramel and Chocolate Mint.

For many, Popcorn Kitchen is best known for its iconic Giant Bottles, that provide added wow to any seasonal gifting fixture, be that the ultimate stocking filler or a fitting picnic basket finale.

The fastest growing range within Popcorn Kitchen’s diverse flavour stable is its snowballing Home Popping kits that come with an array of moreish toppings. These ‘home movie’ musts have gained significant popularity in recent times with the explosion of home baking/home cooking offers. Today, propositions that encourage bonding time between small, children, parents and grand-parents culminating in a family movie night are worth their weight in gold.

This is a brand with discerning retail ties that has always prioritised from Day.1 communal food hubs as diverse as farm shops, delis, food halls, garden centres over mass market supermarkets.

Yes, fine snacking aficionados may spot a pack of Popcorn Kitchen at a Ritz hotel in London, Selfridges, Jamie Oliver’s new café in John Lewis Oxford Street or even as part of an online Craft Gin Club collaboration, but fundamentally, this is a business that prioritises community hub stores, which includes best-in-class farm shops.

It’s also worth noting that is a business committed to ongoing innovation and we will announce later in 2025 our new additions to the Popcorn Kitchen Family.

The future seems packed with hand-popped happiness!
