The Rhubarb Triangle Farm Shop was opened in May 2012 to sell our homegrown fresh vegetables and Free Range Eggs. In December 2012 we added a butchery, and the shop has gone from strength to strength.

We are not a visitor center and so our success has to be born out of stocking good wholesome food, at realistic prices, and offering local products not usually available in the nearby supermarkets.

We pride ourselves on a friendly welcome, and personal service, and this is reflected in a growing number of regular who appreciate good food and value for money.

The land in Carlton has been farmed by the Dobson family since 1815, and the farm shop is situated in some of the oldest remaining farm buildings. We are of course Rhubarb Growers, from the heart of The Rhubarb Triangle, hence the name of the shop.

We offer locally grown products wherever possible. If it is not local then it is usually sourced within the Yorkshire area.Much of our produce comes from local farms, offering low food miles and value for money.

We take our customer feed back very seriously and plan to expand our business on customer trust and repeat business.
