About Us
Set in the lush Somerset countryside between Bath and Bristol, lies Farrington’s – an award-winning farm shop and cafe at Home Farm in Farrington Gurney. Our farm shop has always been more than just a place to buy groceries; it’s a celebration of the best seasonal and local produce that the surrounding area has to offer.
The farmhouse at Home Farm became home to Andy and Tish Jeffery in 1989, continuing a legacy of farming that has been in the family for 200 years. In 1992, Andy took over the farming operations from his father. When the farm shop first opened, we just sold potatoes, vegetables, cakes and a few jars of preserves. Over the years, we have grown and evolved, but our commitment to quality, sustainability, and local produce has never wavered. Today, Farrington’s is an award-winning farm shop and cafe, known for its broad selection of homemade and homegrown products.
Our farm spans 400 acres, where we grow a variety of organic vegetables and potatoes. Not only to we supply our farm shop, but our homegrown produce features prominently in the seasonal dishes served in our cafe. We also use our homegrown potatoes to make chips for our on site fish & chip shop.
Farrington’s a perfect destination for a family day out with attractions including an indoor Playbarn, outdoor farm park and seasonal events like pick-your-own tulips, sunflowers and pumpkins!
