Together, we are stronger

We are the Farm Retail Association, bringing together farm shops from across the UK for over 40 years.

On Wednesday 4th November we will be running a FREE advice session, full of top tips from the experts about how you can keep ahead of the game, particularly during these challenging times.

Farm shops have been incredible through this crisis; you have been dynamic, changing the way you operate and sell – with many seeing a surge in customers and gaining recognition for the invaluable part you play in the community.

We salute you and we want to keep momentum going, keep supporting each other and helping our businesses to flourish.

From open and friendly advice, to money saving deals; helpful training and workshops, and access to regular guidance – we’ve got all the ingredients you need to feel supported, inspired and primed for success.

Together, we are stronger!

Boosting the morale of your team – whilst looking after yourself and your business

Wednesday 4th November, 2.00pm – 3.00pm

It’s been an incredibly challenging few months. Owners, managers & staff have worked incredibly hard – with the busy Christmas period yet to come. This online session will explore how farm shop owners and managers can see their team (and themselves!) through the next few weeks.

  • Morale and Resilience – Strong connections, managing crises, viewing change as normal, a sense of perspective, positivity, decisiveness
  • Empathetic, Supportive, Leadership – Maintaining well-being, different leadership styles, addressing vulnerabilities
  • Team Spirit – Inclusivity, praise, events
  • Celebration and Reward – Public and private recognition, gamification, fun

The speaker – Malcolm Smith, Mind Games Management Training

Many of you will remember Malcolm from our conference ‘Stronger Together’, back in March. Malcolm specialises in the emotional issues of running a business. He believes in the power of people above systems, and that true leadership is about developing positive business environments to drive success. Malcolm ensures that people he works with have the right level of challenge and support to make changes – and deliver more than they thought they could, both for themselves and their businesses.
