Sunnyfields is a business which focuses on ‘food and more’. This means that the products need to have something extra to them: whether fresh, local, artisan, organic, the highest of quality, low packaging or bar-raising traceability.
Sunnyfields is run by Ian and Louise Nelson and was started in 1989 when they returned from Voluntary Service Overseas in Malawi, where they met. Sunnyfields started by growing their own organic vegetables, which it still does today, though shortly after a farm shop was built to outlet its products. Sunnyfields has since diversified into hosting events on the farm, has an inhouse production kitchen, butchery and onsite eateries.
