Hollow Trees Farm is in the heart of Constable Country in Suffolk. The 140 acre working farm grows vegetables and plants on site as well as producing beef, pork and lamb. The farm has a Coffee shop, plant centre, farm trail and hosts birthday parties and group visits too.
Everything grown on the farm is sold on site, the farm shop specialises in the home grown vegetables, the Butchery in the home produced meat. The Deli area is full of savoury products baked in our kitchens using Hollow Trees meat and the Coffee shop bakes from scratch using home-grown and local ingredients. Local products and fare in every department compliment the home-grown range.
The farm trail takes you through the fields and livestock barn and is full of farm animals to feed and activities for all the family.

Hollow Trees Farm is a small farm in the heart of Suffolk; our mission is to create unique opportunities that allow access to agriculture for all, through fantastic food, fun and adventure, education and employment!
In September 1986 Robert and Sally Bendall moved to the then 10 acre plot in the tiny village of Semer with the intention of continuing their livestock enterprise. Circumstances dictated the need to diversify and the road side cart selling potatoes and eggs subsequently evolved into the business as it is today. The farm is still very much at the core but around it has grown a farm shop, coffee shop, butchery, delicatessen, farm trail and an all year round programme of education and entertainment. Today, the farm comprises of 140 acres, employs 56 people
The Farm Shop specialises in home-grown vegetables and local fare. Every day the farm team pick vegetables fresh and deliver them directly to the farm shop in a matter of minutes sometimes! The farm shop is open seven days a week, Mon. – Sat 8.30 am to 5.45 pm. Suns & B.Hols 9am to 5pm
The Butchery sells home produced beef, pork and lamb as well as local chicken and game, with a wide range to meal solutions too (note: at present closed on Mons)
Woodlands Coffee Shop has a family friendly menu with dishes made using the farms own meat and vegetables together with local produce wherever possible. The chefs from the coffee shop also supply the farm shop with sweet and savoury products, home baked from scratch. Open: Mon-Sat 9 to 5.30 Sun & B. Hols 9-5. (note: last hot orders an hour earlier )
The Farm Trail is very popular and is a walk around the fields and livestock barn. There are lots of farm animals to feed as well as fun activities like rope swings, the foxhole slide, the giants chair and the roly poly pole plus much much more. We aim to offer good simple family fun. Admission charges apply and seasonal events are run on the trail when opening times and admission charges may vary.
Last entry on the farm trail is 4.30 pm Mon – Sat. Suns & B.Hols 3.30 pm.
Hollow Trees Farm Birthday Parties and Events are always affordable fun. The most popular events is the annual ten day pumpkin festival called Holloween run in the October Half term on the farm trail . This is followed by a Tea with Santa event and there are many more celebrations and promotions all year round
