About us

We supply both free range and farm assured chickens from Norfolk; and any game including partridge, pheasant, rabbit and pigeon, is shot on the farmland by experienced game shooters. As we cut from carcass we can produce any joint of meat you may need, including anything for unusual recipes.

The kitchen specialises in homemade pies and cakes all made in the shop, using our own meat and local produce. We serve a selection of savoury foods including, pork and game pies, scotch eggs, quiche, cooked ham and our famous sausage rolls! Priding ourselves on delicious and traditional food, we care about the quality, serving pies only in ceramic dishes and making any pies, desserts or cakes to order. We make a selection of jams and chutneys for every taste, which are available as gift sets, and produce our own fudges and sweets.

As well as our own products we support local businesses by supplying their produce, including cheese from Fairseat’s Winterdale Cheesemakers and eggs from Wrotham Road’s A. K. Woods. We also supply drinks from Rochester, Ice creams from Salcombe Dairy and local cream and butter.

We have fully qualified butchers, along with two apprentices that are all friendly and passionate about providing good quality meat. Many of our customers visit us for the experience of the shop and the friendly atmosphere, where sarcasm comes free!

Luanna has recently joined Harvel House Farm Shop, bringing with her a new style and flair for the Little Barn. Brilliantly decorated, Luanna sells a selection of fruit, vegetables, unique gifts, fair trade chocolates, tea bags and lots more!

The fruit and veg is supplied by Spital Market, which is mainly Kent produce. Luanna is passionate about the quality of the fruit and veg, so it is collected at 5am and driven down to Harvel House Farm to guarantee good produce and freshness! Throughout the year Luanna stocks seasonal fruit, veg and produce including pumkins for halloween, and christmas trees from Kelseys Farm Shop, Sidcup.
