About us

Rewind back to 2000 and Oakes Farm Shop sold only their own free range eggs in a garden shed at the top of the farm drive. Then in 2013, the doors to the farm shop here today opened, welcoming customers from local and afar to enjoy a wide range of locally sourced products which we are proud to stock.

Oakes Farm Shop now comprises of a butchery, delicatessen, café and the retail shop itself, with our main focus in all departments to supply the best homemade or locally sourced produce that we can find.

Over the years, we have increased the range of our homemade produce, including all of the pastries and pies on our delicatessen counters, and the cakes and traybakes sold in both the café and shop.

In 2022, we entered 3 products into the Great Taste Awards, and received 3 awards:
Homemade Handraised Pork Pie – 2-star
Free Range Thick Pork Breakfast Sausage – 1-star
Homemade Plain Sausage Roll – 1-star
