About us
Welcome to Thames Ditton Farmers’ Market, a not to be missed event staged on the fourth Saturday of every month within the amenity space of the George & Dragon pub in the High Street. Here you’ll find over 20 high quality stalls selling home grown produce as well as locally sourced meat, fish, dairy products, bread, cakes, sauces, preserves, artisan products and lots, lots more.
Launched in October 2015 by a group of food and fun loving locals, and run entirely by volunteers, Thames Ditton Farmers’ Market is a community hub in the true sense of the word. THE place for family and friends to meet up and socialise, here you are positively encouraged to stay as long as you like, relax and enjoy an extra coffee, dine al fresco or simply chat with friends.
Here you can shop fantastic food and drink stalls, browse and buy amazing local arts and crafts and be entertained by a wide range of performers from soloists and choirs to jazz musicians and rock and roll bands on a dedicated stage. There are loads of activities for children too, including a monthly treasure hunt, games, face painting and arts and crafts in the dedicated kids area.
Supporting our High Street and the wider community helps our Farmers’ Market stand out. Each month we feature a local group, centre or charity, promoting their work on our community stall. We also have a dedicated High Street retailers’ stall which promotes our fantastic independent shops and businesses. Why not take a stroll down the rest of our High Street after your visit to the Thames Ditton Farmers’ Market? See just why Thames Ditton has the highest number of award winning independent shops and businesses in the whole of Elmbridge!
