About us

Manor Farm Fruits is situated in the picturesque village of Hints in Staffordshire, just 3 miles from Tamworth and 6 miles from Lichfield.

The farm has been owned and run by the Clarke family for the last three generations and is one of Staffordshire’s longest established soft fruit growers.

With a total of 55 acres of soft fruit, we have 12 acres of strawberries, raspberries, gooseberries, redcurrants, blackcurrants and blackberries designated specifically for ‘Pick-Your-Own’.

We pride ourselves in growing fruit of the highest quality and grow a wide range of varieties of both strawberries and raspberries offering subtle differences in both flavour and appearance.

We’re sure you’ll agree that the mouth-watering and sweet flavour of English strawberries just can’t be beaten!

About us

Denstone Hall Farm Shop and Cafe is beautifully situated on the Staffordshire/Derbyshire border between the market towns of Uttoxeter and Ashbourne in the village of Denstone.

The Farm Shop opened in 2007 after Emma and Rupert gave up their careers in London and moved back to Staffordshire to diversify the family farm and launch their new venture. We are the fourth generation to farm at Denstone Hall and as a family we are dedicated to looking after the stunning Staffordshire countryside that surrounds our farm.

At Denstone Hall, sourcing our food and produce locally is at the heart of business ethos. We now source over 500 lines across the business from over 45 local producers and growers.
The shop itself has a lovely friendly and welcoming atmosphere and offers a wide range of local and seasonal produce including traditional staffordshire meats for visitors to choose from.
The cafe which has won Best Tea Room in Staffordshire for three years running, prepares everything from scratch in our farm shop kitchen. Enjoy the stunning views from the warmth of the cafe or in summer sit outside in our large garden which looks over the river Churnet.

On the same site you can also find a few other retail units including a clothes shop, florist, interiors shop and estate agent.

About us

We are a family run Farm, PYO, Shop and Cafe located at the side of the Trent and Mersey Canal in Great Haywood – a beautiful part of the Staffordshire countryside.

Our aim is always to source high quality, local food and drink from farms and producers within a 30 mile radius of our home, whilst continuing to produce our own soft fruit berries, garden vegetables and bedding plants right here on the Farm.
Open all year round, our Farm Shop offers a wide range of tasty products for all dietary needs. Our Cafe serves home cooked meals straight from ‘field to plate’; and our Seasonal Plant Centre sells beautiful plants and hanging baskets nurtured in our own glass houses. During the summer months we offer ‘Pick Your Own’ strawberries, raspberries and blackberries, and in autumn PYO pumpkins is an activity enjoyed by all the family!

Our Farm Shop is bursting with fresh, seasonal, local produce plus has a fantastic butchery, fishmongers, delicatessen and bakery. We have expanded our range to sell not only what we produce on our Farm but over 1000 additional products from local and regional suppliers who care about the same things as we do: Sustainable Farming Practises, Quality, Taste and Value for Money!
Our Canalside Cafe is a popular refreshment stop for many boaters, walkers and cyclists who enjoy the lovely countryside, waterways and pathways right on our doorstep. Serving a wide range of home cooked meals and freshly baked treats we can seat 72 customers inside and 40 people outside on our beautiful canal side decking area.

Vibrant Plant Centre
Plants are an important part of our growing programme. During Spring we operate a vibrant Plant Centre full of beautiful bedding and pot plants, lovingly nurtured onsite to give them the best start for your garden and hanging baskets displays. We also provide hanging baskets workshops in which we share our knowledge, skills and plants with our green fingered customers!

Award Winning Strawberries & PYO
We are renown in our region for growing Strawberries and english soft fruits for high-end catering and retail establishments across Staffordshire.
We specialise in growing our Strawberries, Raspberries and Blackberries in a protected environment on raised-up beds called table tops, as with this system we can give our Farm Shop and Cafe customers an extended fresh fruit season (from May to October). This system also makes it very easy for our disabled customer to join in the fun when we open our Pick Your Own activity over the summer months!
Throughout October we open our PYO Pumpkin patch for customers with halloween in mind!
