About us

Arrow Farm and the Arrow Farm Shop, which opened its doors in 1991, is owned and run by the Blagg Family who have over half a century of farming experience. Since starting out selling potatoes at the farm gate, we moved on to selling fresh fruit and veg, jams, pickles and preserves and opened our own butchery concession and deli counter. We then progressed to launching our in house bakery. 2011 saw the opening of our fully refurbished shop and cafe diner.
Working with a number of neighbouring farms and local producers, we aim to source as much of our produce as possible from within 30 miles of the farm – this ensures the best in freshness, and helps us to keep our impact on the environment to a minimum.

Excellent locally sourced produce
Arrow Farm Shop is located at the border of three counties with a vibrant agricultural and farming heritage – Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and South Yorkshire. This excellent location enables us to provide a wide range of excellent locally sourced produce.
Almost all the potatoes sold in Arrow Farm Shop are grown, selected and packed right here on the farm, and during peak season times you’ll find our excellent Marfona potatoes on our shelves less than 3 hours after they’ve been harvested!
The Arrow Farm Shop Shelves are abundant with all manner of jams, pickles, chutneys, sauces, marinades, rubs, dips and preserves. From traditional favourites such as Horseradish sauce, mint sauce and apple sauce, to more unusual alternatives such as boozy marmalade. We even sell honey from our very own Arrow Farm bees!

The Cafe Diner is the ideal place to visit with family and friends whether it’s a coffee and a slice of cake from the Arrow Farm Bakery or a comforting home-made meal you’re looking for.

Finest meats
We use only the finest meats for the beef in our pies, the bacon in our BLTs, and the sausages in our breakfasts. The Marfona jacket potatoes are grown on Arrow Farm itself. All of the cheeses are from our very own Deli counter and the chutneys and sauces are made by local producer Bramble Foods. All these ingredients, plus the vegetables and fruit we use in our Cafe-Diner, are available to purchase from our Farm Shop. The delicious cakes and pies, made by our resident baker Marina, can also be found on our desert menu as well as on our shop shelves.

We welcome group bookings for clubs, societies, and associations and are happy to discuss any requirements you have. We make an ideal stop off for cycle clubs, car rallies with ample parking space in the farm yard. Call us on 01909 723 018 for further details.

Our normal opening hours are:
Monday – Saturday 9am – 5pm
Sunday 10am – 4pm

About us

The award-winning Welbeck Farm Shop is found at the heart of a vibrant artisan food community. Two thirds of the shops impressive product range is sourced from or prepared at the historic Welbeck estate.

A focus on low food miles, drawing on a rich artisan food tradition, and subjecting every product line to rigorous taste testing has earned a reputation as one of the countrys top farm shops. Meat is sourced from the local area, including from the Welbeck estate where rare breed livestock graze historic pastures. Meats are cured in store by the award-winning butchery team.

The estates own Raw Milk is also on offer, delivered fresh from the dairy every morning. Its the same milk used in the internationally acclaimed Stichelton blue cheese, which is made just down the road. A cheese counter developed with help from their friends Neils Yard Dairy is lovingly tended by an in-house cheesemonger.

The Welbeck estate is a haven for artisan food producers, also among this idyllic community are Welbeck Abbey Brewery, Welbeck Bakehouse and Welbeck Farm Shops resident chocolatier Ottar Chocolate. All grace the farm shops shelves, complimented by some of the finest produce the region has to offer.

Welbeck Farm Shop is accompanied by the neighbouring Harley Gallery, Portland Collection and Harley Cafe.

Visit us at Welbeck. Open daily, 9am-5pm (4pm Sundays). Free Parking.

Closed Easter Sunday and over the Christmas period – please check our website for details.
