Leytonstone farmers market is right next door to the great play park and skate park on Cann Hall Road, near Jubilee Pond and Wanstead Flats. We’re here in the lovely grounds of Buxton School every Sunday 10am-2pm rain or shine with a huge array of seasonal, local, homemade foods including seasonal fruit and vegetables, free range and organic meat, poultry and eggs, seasonal fish and shellfish, breads, cakes, cheese, dairy and much more, including local heroes Patch Cafe!

Local people are there before 10am queuing patiently for our fishermen to serve them at 10am!

This is a market where it’s best to arrive early before the best of the bunch sells out.

Unpasteurised milk and cream from Hurdlebrook. Fresh herbs & salads from Nigel’s Lettuces and Lovage. The freshest fruit and vegetables direct from Perry Court Farm, Ted’s Veg and Chegworth Valley. Cultivated & wild mushrooms, fresh pasta & pestos, asparagus in May, cherries in July.

Bute St is a lovely little street 5 minutes from South Ken tube.

Its full of great food shops and on Saturday the farmers’ market comes to town. Get there early if you want fresh south coast fish or shellfish from Christchurch Fish.

Grab a free range sausage sandwich from The Parsons Nose, choose vegetables from Teds Veg, Perry Court Farm, Akiki Organics and Wild Country Organics. Look out for game in season, organic eggs from Rookery Farm, grass fed lamb and beef from Beatbush Farm, Fosse Meadows free range poultry, delicious bread, cakes and pastries from Olivier’s Bakery and Artisan Foods.

A lovely location, by Queens Lawn and Queens Tower on the Imperial College campus 5 minutes from The Science Museum. It’s open to everyone and is an oasis of calm for lunch; everything on the market either comes straight from the farm or uses local, sustainable ingredients.

Lots of choices for meat eaters, vegetarians and vegans. Top up your shop with fresh vegetables, bread, fruit, juice and more. If you can’t find us at Queens Lawn, check out Princes Gardens. We’re sometimes moved there!
