A new initiative EXCLUSIVELY for Farm Retail Association members
We’re delighted to be partnering with chef, cookery teacher and TV personality Rosemary Shrager for her new online cookalong experience, ‘Cooking at Home with Rosemary’.
Rob Copley, Chairman of the FRA said: “We’re thrilled to be the retail partner for this project. In conjunction with Rosemary’s team, we’ll be working hard to use this opportunity to promote not only shopping at farm shops, but shopping at YOUR farm shop, with Rosemary’s subscribers being encouraged to find their nearest participating shop on the FRA website. This will hopefully bring new faces through your door, but also gives a good upselling opportunity for your existing customers”
Combining fresh local produce, exciting but accessible recipes and Rosemary’s unique charm and wit, these FREE online sessions have proved popular with Rosemary’s fanbase over lockdown, and are now being taken to the next level.
Rosemary Shrager said: “I’m thrilled to be partnering with the Farm Retail Association. I’ve always chosen to shop close to home, wherever possible and farm shops are the best places to find the freshest and most delicious produce. And it’s so good to know that you’re supporting local growers.”
We’d love you to be part of this… so what’s next?
Rosemary’s cook-alongs are broadcast live, for free, every Saturday evening at 5.00pm via the Facebook page.
You can follow Rosemary’s Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/RosemaryShrager/
The first FRA partnered cookalong will take place on Saturday 30th January when Rosemary will be cooking steak and kidney casserole with neaps and tatties to celebrate Burns Night.
You will receive e-mails containing recipe cards ahead of each week’s cookalong to use as you see fit. You could print and display in store, use on social media, and share with your customer e-mail database.
Other ideas might include doing a customer competition to win that week’s ingredients
Encourage your customers to share images of their cooked meals, tagging you and #cookingathomewithrosemary on social media.
